What’s the meaning of this website’s name?

This is actually quite easy to explain. The greek god Apollo had an unrequited tragic love affair with a woman named Daphne. After fleeing from him and asking her father Peneius, who felt sorry for Daphne, to save her from the god's arms, he transformed her into a laurel tree. Apollo hugged the tree since he hadn’t made love to her while she was still alive and swore from there on that the laurel would be his holy plant - forever and he would always wear a wreath made of laurel leaves.

The name “Laura” comes from latin and means “laurel leaves”. Can this be a coincidence?

Besides laureLLeaves has two L in the middle. That came in good time.
