There are some updates and corrections all around the website. I also
finally included some articles from the old laurelleaves design into
the new website.

I'm again updating today, that's probably because Season 3 is about to start and I am really cheering here, can't wait to watch it! There are some new icons in the Icons Section and I have also changed the look on the left side, now you have a bigger overview of the latest icon updates!
There is again an update in the Wallpaper Section, MANY THANKS to Niji for contributing a wonderful wallpaper. I really hope to get more wallpapers from you in the future. I love them!

Finally, I have done it! A Laura/Lee Video for Snow Patrol's ingenious "Chasing Cars", I have always thought that this song is perfect for Roslin and Apollo and now with complete Season 2 released on DVD I could finally make it the way I wanted it to be. Hi friends, we are currently working on the following project:
Planned are moderated chatlog sessions on msn (windows live messenger). In a limited time frame (30-60 minutes each session) the group will talk/discuss bsg related (often focusing laura/lee) topics. Later the chatlog session will be published here on laurelleaves!
Now the problem is, at the moment we are just three people. We search people who are willing to join this chatlog sessions group. Cool would be to have diehard laura lee shippers in our rows, aswell as someone opposed to it or/and neutral. In other words whatever attitude, we need YOU! Are you the right person for it? Well it's necessary that you are reliable when it comes down to appointed times. If the group has together agreed on a special date and time, you should be at msn and punctual ;). If you consider yourself spontaneous and if you are interested in discussing, argumenting and of course Battlestar Galactica then you are our match!

My first real attempt in video editing was done yesterday. Yes, indeed, I have made a Laura/Lee-video! It just contains footage from the pilote and season 1,because there is still no region2 - "BSG season 2 dvd" out, that's going to happen in august. I need that because my laptop dvd drive is just able to read region 2. So no spoilers for season 2!
The video is called "The Electrician", a song by Scott Walker, which needless to say I love ;)! I hope you do aswell, at least a little bit, because it definitely is some sort of more experimental music. As always feedback is appreciated, if you like write something into the guestbook/forum or send me an email to Kathi.

It's really time for season 3 I think, but there are still some months of waiting to go. In "The Relationship" LaureLLeaves has a new category. It's a regular cartoon that is about two fans (named Laura and Lee) of the series Battlestar Galactica. Both keep watching it together. The cartoon itself alludes to things happening in the show. Well please take a look: here. More cartoons soon to be released.

Finally, laurelleaves got its own domain. It's now called http://www.laurelleaves.net ! That also means it's now on a paid server, not on a freehosted (-crap sorry) server. I hope you keep visiting this website, because that's just the start of it. Expect much more to come!

Laurel Leaves is running for a few days now. I'm proud to announce that the "changing banner when refreshing" program is now installed. As well as the guestbook is working properly now, don't forget to drop a comment ;). Thanks go to the programmer Krelian who helped me out with these two programs. Really thanks! I am also happy to announce that in at least one month there will be two rubrics running with two different authors, who will write Galactica articles on a regular basis with particular themes. The already named Krelian will start into his reporting career with quite refreshing themes. And I'm amazed to announce that the acclaimed student of German philology and media communication studies Niji will write critical reports concering the world of Galactica.

Welcome everybody at laurelleaves.kilu.net. This is (as you probably already noticed), a Website dedicated to the relationship of Laura and Lee from BSG. It's the first News entry and it feels somehow special I have to say. Well, what can you expect from this Site? Much, I hope so. I plan to update regularly, the Icons section is going to be extended soon, there are going to be more articles in all the other categories, as well as you can join discussions in the forum (when it's working properly, that's soon). This place is hopefully about to become a real resource for everything related to L&L. That's also the right moment to announce plans for a FanFiction section. If you want that I link to your fanfictions (they must be about L&L of course) here from laurelleaves.kilu.net, please write me an E-mail. If it happens that I choose not to link to your fanfiction, it's probably because I had my concerns with your story (for example bad terms or something like that ;)), so it's definitely nothing personal. If there is anything you want to tell me, suggestions, critics or well whatever concerning this topic and this website, E-mail me or drop something in the guestbook (will work correctly at the weekend) or the forums.
